First A+ tutoring blog
Here I go:
Tutoring should be a joy for both the teacher and the student.
This is my goal, to be an instrument of inspiration to your child.
I use direct instruction, pretest, teach, apply, post test.
I believe in using the V.A.T.K. method: Visual, Auditory, Tactile, and Kinesthetic.
I base teaching on your childs’ individual learning style.
Why tutor? :
1 Help your child feel confident about learning, he or she will not lose ground and regress.
2 Continuity, repetition, & consistency ensure retention.
3 Studies show a child can regress academically 3-4 months without the consistency of reviewing materials at least 2-3 times a week.
4 This is a vital to your child's success!

When? :
Times are flexible based on your schedule. Monday – Sat.

Be punctual, so each may receive his/her deserved time.
“No shows” without a 24-hour notice will still be charged.
What? :
I charge $20.00 for 30 minutes
$30.00 for 45 “
$40.00 for 60 “

We pack a lot of learning into that time!
This price is lower than 2 other local tutoring facilities-although I don’t intend to compete.
My goal is to provide affordable tutoring with a customized learning plan.
My fee includes diagnostic evaluation, scoring and initial meeting to discuss results.
Initial consult is 30 minutes.
This includes setting up an individualized learning plan based on: your child’s records, report cards, previous teachers’ observations, and assessments.
